Well hello there! My name’s Heather. I’m so glad you’re here!

Here’s a little about me: I’m a wife to the funniest and most encouraging man (Mr. Dean), and a long-time lover of all things Oklahoma. I’m an avid coffee drinker, local-shop visitor, and puppy snuggler! We have two fur children of our own, Presley and Yogi, who are both great danes! We foster and volunteer to help other giant breed animals in need with Save the Giants.

It’s rare to find me without a craft in hand or scheming new decor! My passion is to turn something ordinary into something sentimental, high quality, and cherished. Crafting is my way of giving joy to myself and it’s also how I like to bring joy to others.

We currently live in a hand-me-down home, so we’re learning to making it work even though we wouldn’t have picked the floor plan (or lack of natural lighting) ourselves.

Why do you blog? Crafting and decorating has always been a big part of my life. I was looking for a creative outlet that wasn’t an Etsy shop – and I decided to start a blog! I honestly have enjoyed every single second since April 2015.

Where do you shop? I regularly shop at Lowes, Home Depot, Target, Amazon and Michaels. I’m also passionate about shopping small in my hometown.

What song do you sing at the top of your lungs when you’re alone? “This Will Be (Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole or “Defying Gravity” from Wicked the Musical.
